The Inaugural Pea Green Boat Artist Studio Exhibition

The Pea Green Boat Artist Studio was founded in 2007 by artist & Kick Gallery exhibitor Belinda Wiltshire. Situated in large warehouse in Brunswick near Sydney Road the studio since its inception has been a hub for Melbourne based artists to meet, collaborate, share and learn from one another. As the studio space has come to life it has also become an artist sanctuary, a place that allows creativity to flourish as well as a place in which its artists are able to seek solitude & focus on their work. The Pea Green Boat is now home to more than 30 artists - painters, jewelers, designers, crafts-people, sculptors, photographers and those that work across multiple mediums. After a year of housing the creativity of its residents the Pea Green Boat’s founder & director has pulled together a selection of these prolific creators to exhibit together outside of their studio environment. The exhibition will showcase predominantly 2D works, although, fashion, costume and installation work will also feature in the show.
